4 WAYS TO HUMM HIGHER THIS MONTH

I. CLOSE OLD CHAPTERS

We are constantly evolving. Imagine your life is a garden. Pruning is like clearing the weeds - letting go of the unhelpful thoughts, feelings and actions that are shaping your experience of life. Whereas tuning is like nurturing the seeds and flowers you wish to plant and grow - nurturing the helpful thoughts, feelings and actions that you do want to cultivate in the garden of life.

III. PRESENCE AS A PORTAL TO PEACE

Peace is a practice and the portal to peace is through wholehearted presence.

IV. THE ART OF SAVOURING

Have something to look forward to.
Enjoy the moment.
Reminisce about it afterwards.

I’m not sure who to credit for these words, but I came across them through the month and loved the practice of making gratitude and savouring the moment into an art form.

4 BOTANICALS FOR JANUARY

Lemon Myrtle for refreshing, soothing and healing. This Australian native, grown in Queensland, is calming and helps to support the immune system. Keep cool with a bottle of Hibiscus Lemon Myrtle Iced Tea or diffuse it in essential oil form to keep your space cool and calm.
Reishi is a wonderful herb for nourishing the Heart and Small Intestine throughout Summer. Pop a few drops of pure Reishi under the tongue before bedtime for a deep and restful sleep. Add a teaspoon of Reishi powder to your favourite ritual cuppa or simply add water or milk to this Calm Cacao blend.
Peppermint has cooling qualities and can provide instant relief. Refresh your space by diffusing Peppermint essential oil or carrying a roller bottle to roll onto the skin throughout the day, prepare it in a pot of tea, cleanse your clothing and linen in a Peppermint Wash or shift your energy and stay hydrated with this hydration mist.
Sandalwood is also cooling and calming. Pop a few drops of Sandalwood essential oil in a bath, diffuse it or treat your skin to this beautiful Australian made Sodashi calming serum.

A question that’s come up in 1:1 Theta Healing sessions recently is whether there’s a certain number of intentions or manifestations we can focus on at any given time. Why limit yourself? One way to bring clarity to what you’d like to experience and manifest is to write a Major Manifestations List and a Mini Manifestations List. The more you see your Mini Manifestations come to life, the more you build your trust muscle and truly start to believe in both your Mini and Major Manifestations.

UPDATE

I’ve enjoyed a fairly restful holiday season so far, and have been loving little moments of soaking up the sun and walking through the national park near our new place.

My word, or feeling to cultivate for 2025 came up in a yoga practice over the weekend with the lovely Aimee Pederson at the new One Nectar yoga studio founded in Beattie Street Health in Balmain.
Peace is my word for 2025. And as we made shapes and folded and unfolded our way through yoga, Aimee’s words spoke straight to the heart - Presence is the portal to Peace. And peace is a practice.

The next (and last for a few months) Reiki training will be held on the first weekend of February and I’ll be wrapping up 1:1 sessions by mid-Feb as we enter the baby bubble. If you’d like to book in a 1:1 session before then please send me a message at chelseyprior@gmail.com.
